D-Day with Mobas
On the 11th of October, my media class took part in a special media activity. This went on for most of the day, and we were welcomed by people who worked at Mobas, Cambridge, one of which included Peter Chaloner who is an ex-Long Road student.
During the day, we were given a challenge; this was to create a marketing campaign for a fashion company. This mainly involved adverting, which included making an app for the company, a Facebook page, and twitter accounts. We also had to pitch our ideas to the rest of the students. This was a great experience as it gave me a lot of knowledge on how media is used in everyday life. I also learned a bit about the media industry and how much work goes into the whole process. If I were to have the experience of the day again, I would have paid closer attention and made more notes, to branch out my knowledge of Mobas and the overall Media industry.
